Somalia and Ethiopia…
Since the beginning 1991, Somalia, a land with a magnificent history and rich culture was thrown into anarchy. A nation that fought fiercely against oppression from the British, French and Italian imperialists was finally brought down by its own people. For 16 years the Somali people have been forced to live in Diaspora. Generations upon generations have yet to see or experience what it means to belong to a nation. Some might say that the recent development in Somalia in which the Union of Islamic Courts group was ousted from power by the invading Ethiopian troops with the pretext to install the Transitional Federal Government in Mogadishu has generated intense discussions within the mainstream media. This blog will be dedicated to informing the unaware about the current state of the occupation and it’s affects on both Somalia and Ethiopia.

It’s great that you’ve dedicated this blog to Somalia… a country that hardly ever gets coverage…
Educate the ignorant sister…
